Details:

Please note that the January 2011 meeting will be held the last Saturday of this month on January 29th.

We are pleased to announce the next OCA meeting topic, “Social Network Analysis”, on January 29, 2011. Because there is a limited capacity for this event, we recommend advanced registration. Click on the link below to register online and reserve your seat.

Social Network Analysis (SNA) enables us to achieve a much deeper understanding of the shadow organization and its impact on “how work really gets done”, which is often in stark contrast to what our formal processes and prescribed hierarchy might suggest. Whether we’re performing pre-M&A due diligence, making more intelligent decisions as to what Employees should be added to cross-functional innovation teams, or maximizing the effectiveness of our change initiatives, SNA can be an invaluable ally to our efforts.

Josh Letourneau is a Principal at Knight & Bishop, which provides SNA consulting and Executive Search services to Clients in North America. Josh holds an MBA from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA, is ranked #13 on HRExaminer.com?s “Top 25 Online Influencers in Talent Management” is a Contributing Blogger at FistfulofTalent.com, is a member of several HCI (Human Capital Institute) Expert Panels, and presented at multiple HR/Recruiting/Talent Management Conferences from 2008 through the present.
